Explain the difference between rectangular and polar coordinates.

Suppose someone needs to be able to aim a laser at the moon every night or day it is visible, whether it is cloudy or clear. You need to give them a way to locate the moon as a function of time. How would you do it?

If you are the origin, the polar axis is the vertical direction, the time is now, (summer solstice), and the moon is full, estimate the polar coordinates of the moon at :

a) Dusk

b) Midnight

c) Dawn.
